Quirky Dreams! Software explores and builds custom apps for individuals, small businesses, and organizations with specialized needs. We start with the problem rather than the technology: what is getting in your way, what would make the workflow better, and whether custom software is actually a sensible solution.

A good app starts with understanding the job it needs to do. Before building, we ask questions, define what success looks like, check feasibility, and agree on scope. If the idea makes sense, we build in stages so working versions can be tested and refined along the way.
Small problems can deserve real software.
Not every useful app needs to become the next giant platform. A custom Mac app, an internal workflow tool, a specialized utility, or a focused piece of software can be valuable simply because it solves the right problem for the people who need it.

Text Curator grew from a need to search, review, preserve, and export Apple Messages conversations on a Mac. Xtractor adapts that kind of workflow around a client's particular requirements. Other projects explore different kinds of specialized tools and ideas.
